Results Coming Soon for 6/28 & 6/29 Thanks to everyone who came out last weekend! Both days drew 40+ teams. The next tournament is July 12th and 13th at our regular spot in Collins Park (Freedom Field). Reminder: Make sure to pre-pay for the tournament to ensure paying the best rate. Check out the pricing schedule for questions on tournament costs.
AVPNext Online Registration Complete the AVPNext online membership form to play in CDGD grass tournaments. A one time fee that costs $10.
Pick-Up This year pick-up will once again be held at Avon Crest Park in Niskayuna from 5:30pm until dark. Look for pickup to start in May when the weather becomes warmer. Space will be limited on Tuesday due to the the ultimate frisbee league that also uses part of the field.
Book on Doubles Be sure to pick up your copy of Winning Doubles: Mastering Outdoor Volleyball Through Strategy and Training, written by CDGD tournament director Jen Sangiacomo. You will find loads of great pointers, ideas, and training tips ot get you ready for the 2008 season. It has been endorsed by Hans Stolfus of the AVP. If you buy a copy, make sure to bring it to the next tournament to get it signed!
AVP Ball Sale This
year we will be selling the traditional Wilson AVP leather volleyballs
($50) and the official Wilson AVP beach volleyball ($45) to our players.
The traditional Wilson AVP leather volleyball is the volleyball of choice
during CDGD tournaments. We have a limited supply in stock so please
